I once read a book, I believe it is based on a true story though,
It was about ants who were stockpiling food while humans were partying, spending and consuming all their resources.
SPOILER ALERT:
at the end of the book humans and ants make a deal to share the food. but the nasty humans betray their associates and kill them all.
The END
