Closing in on the Harvard app... my essay is almost exactly 2000 words, which is way too long. They only give a minimum word count so it's *technically* okay, but I'm going to have to hope that the first page hooks them and they read the rest. It can't help that at least one recommendation is going to be late though. I'll need a hell of a lot more than luck :)
