unfit... it was filmed in south pasadena... so are many neighborhood shots.. american beautify was filmed in san mereno right next to south pas. it was a development back in the day by rich mid westerners as vacation houses in the 20s and 30s. they brought their mid west craftsmen style houses and wide streets. it can look like anywhere, america. and its about 20 minutes away from hollywood. so its the perfect location for them to go and shoot, rather than going to the mid west or some non discript city somewhere in america.
they look like homie homes.. something that could be in any neighborhood on film.. but in reality theyre pretty giant.. million dollar homes. its crazy.
people in those neighborhoods can sign up through the city to have their houses used in movies.. they'll pay you for it if theyre even just filming on the street.
