So I went to a cannabis doctor yesterday to get a recommendation. I told him about my depression regarding family/gf separation, my anxiety in general towards social situations, my work and deadline stress. He took some vitals, shared stories for about 20 minutes, suggested I get married, told me a story about how the surgeon general is an old friend of his from school, how he joined the navy at the right time to avoid 2 wars but be educated to help in them, his 3 failed marriages, and his current girlfriend. He made many analogies between quality of life and health mentioning that some people who stress too much, though they consume natural foods and exercise, can live shorter lives than happy go lucky individuals who may not be as active or eat as healthy. Overall it was a good experience. I felt more informed/engaged than my traditional doctors in KS. Until the part where i buy... i actually took his recommendation, buying what he suggested. I hate it, tastes like it was chemically grown, other than that it has all the good traits that i look for, dry, sparkly tri-chromes, red hairs, big buds, but the flavor is such a turn-off. Thing is, it's such a sativa that i barely feel it in my body and it is totally doing it's job of getting me to focus on being productive instead of dwelling on things i can't change or that make me sad.
