PV-AN crits are generally only as helpful as it takes the first person to take not take the crit seriously, cos from there on in it becomes a free for all, which is of no use to anyone yet can be very entertaining (we all remember boomcrash)
I do agree with Vespa, in that people who post crits only want to hear the good (if any) in the work but really struggle with the critism (again remember boomcrash) but they are being unfair to themselves by posting in here cos of the faceless nature of NT they are not getting a good return but nor are we seeing the full picture, we are only judging work on it's aesthetics, not the whole project, for all we know the target market that the work is aimed may well be missed.
But I do love it when crits get a bit nasty.
