look through the general programming articles
also:
if theory is what you're after, just go with what feels right. concepts like multiple inheritance in oop is only worth implementing if it will make your coding easier. if you're writing a game like the sims or a mmorpg, this could prove usefull, while a side-scrolling game like mario bros may only slightly benefit... it's all subjective though.
