Reading letters of Samuel Beckett. Got it from library its heavy and not especially well-designed. A letter starts at the very bottom of one page, say, address only. Looks like they just dumped text w/o going back a nd balancing or maybe there was a 300 page limit. It's odd.
He is a funny guy. His letters larded with obscenities and erudition: "passionate nihilism" 1930 he's 23 and already with Aldington, Joyce, Cunard among others.
