Where I grew up, there used to be this place - a club, of sorts - where all the cool kids would hang out. It was 'THE' spot to be at, but only the chosen few would be there. Not that you needed a special invitation or anything like that, but you simply wouldn't go there unless you 'belonged'. It was sort of weird, because this place was right there in middle of everything else... right there for anyone to hang out at... but you just didn't. Unwritten rules, I suppose.

Then, for some reason, it suddenly (almost over-night, it seemed), it wasn't the 'it' spot anymore. The unattainable aura of 'cool' had died, and those interesting and popular people that once populated the place had all seemingly just vanished. Only a few knuckleheads stuck around... the few that weren't all that cool to begin with anyway. The few, for whom this place had become their entire identity, and they honestly couldn't leave.
A few new heads saw it as an opportunity to go where they hadn't been able to previously. But it wasn't the same. It didn't mean anything. It wasn't cool anymore, and nobody cared.

I wonder where they all went... the gang that made the place the pinnacle of popularity...
They're probably all dead...
Or sitting somewhere laughing at the whole thing...
Or both, perhaps...- cool people are too busy to reminisceversion3
- are you saying that epill isn't cool? Cause he reminisces pretty often. Not very nice, V3locustsloth
- he's not reminiscing, he's informing the ignorantversion3
- no, talking about long gone NT members, memes and events is reminiscing. Nothing wrong with itlocustsloth
