to respond to v3's post of the marathon, the same thing happened to me the day i was moving into my new apt in brooklyn. i had 3 furniture deliveries and cable/ internet/ phone all whom could not get thru the nyc marathon which went right in front of my apt. i had to re-schedule everything which i couldnt get for 2 weeks... it was hellish.. i was so trapped and i had nothing... i was stuck on my brooklyn block all day.. it sucked. to be trapped in nyc felt like i was trapped in middle america in the 1400s...at least in williamsburg there is endless wifi to steal for free.. dumb ass hipsters..
