From the boots thread. Who has these? I'm thinking of getting them for Christmas. How waterproof are they really? And what temperature are they good down to? I'm hoping to find a pair that will last me the next 10-20 years of hoboing and work well this winter (i.e. muddy, snowy upstate NY farmland).
