    Final Cut is far better than Premiere when it comes to everything including exporting, it really depends what you want to do with the exported files. if you want a .mov file, you need to decide on a codec, e.g. DV-Pal or H264, just like you have to in Premiere, make this choice depending on what the file is for... then go to File>Export>Quicktime movie and choose the settings you have decided upon, or launch compressor, create a new setting with your desired parameters and apply it to the clip.
