first of all, its a figure of speech when people say something is 'THE BEST EVER!'. Ofcourse its not the best film ever- though alot of us loved it. Get over it, its okay to like 'popular' stuff sometimes. Ya know, just sometimes.
secondly- sorry to be a bunch of 'average men' here on nt. sorry to be part of the 'general public' with poor taste and pop-tart consumer culture attitude.
thirdly, snob, your name, snob, matches your post perfectly. for LOTR to still be in the top 10 is damn amazing for a 'fantasy' film.
