I have three weeks to talk to my teachers, have them write one letter of recommendation, then send them to eight different schools. FML. Too bad it has to be "academic," since all my art teachers would be more than enthusiastic...

I already wrote one teacher about it, working on the second, and going to talk to my psychology professor if she's in her office around 5.

Does anyone know if there's a disadvantage to waiting a year to apply to schools? I've kinda been operating under the notion that wherever I get accepted I'll just defer for a year to travel if they allow it, but if I don't get into one of my top schools I wonder if they'd care that I applied a second time without enrolling anywhere else.

    • if you wait, greater chance you won't goversion3
    • As in won't get accepted, or won't be motivated?ismith
    • if you are accepted if you wait, you may decide to not goversion3
