    Looks like a story of pioneering and mindless greed. They thought they had him by the balls and he cut them off.
    Somehow I have a feeling we're not being told all the details.

    Or maybe, some competition paid to sabotage the project?

    BTW, was there ever a working prototype?

    • I think to many people were involved, divide your profit by 3-4 companies? Including proprietary info.
