  Yeah - If you already have the mp3 and want to buy a 'collectable' item, you might as well buy a Vinyl.
  But big coroprates don't give a fuck about this, if something is not making enough money they ditch.
  Same thing that happened with Polaroids.

  I have no doubt that a Polaroid can take more interesting pictures than any point n shoot $50 camera out there, but they stopped producing them because 99.5% of the population uses shitty digital cameras.
