  t1i
  7d has more features (19pt autofocus or something) and maybe a little better low light capability, but its so much more expensive than the t1i. if you are going to spend that kinda cash, just get the 5dmkii. at t1i's price, you can buy a nice lens or two (50mm f/1.4 and maybe 135 f/2L)

  • 50mm? isn't the equivalent like a 35mm because of the t1i's crop?spifflink
  • 7d has the same crop, it's an updated 50D historically speaking.raf
  • a 50mm on a crop body is like an 80mm on a full-frame/35mm camera
