Does it matter though that 95% of hip hop being listened to is this auto tune pop shit?
Can you point to the 5% of MF Doom, Madlib, etc and say, it's still thriving?
I can see what you guys are saying, and I definitely love those underground artists, but he makes a good point that in the 80s and 90s popular hip hop was also great, just like blues, funk, jazz that was popular was great.
