Well fuck them then. They'll have to give you more time and double the budget to do it again. There's a sick kind of satisfaction to be had when an airline actually suffers for losing baggage instead of us for a change.
Charge them emergency rates to rebuild it and make them fill out a fucking big form explaining exactly how and why they lost the first one. Tell them you can only commence the replacement once their CEO has signed off the LOST ARTWORK form.
