ok this is maybe a little sad but wth...
using the shadows, I reckon the elevation of the sun is about 34˚. SO all we have to do is to find the latitude where the sun is 34˚ at 15.34 on May 14. Using a sun calculator i got the latitude to be 58˚...
Which is clearly wrong.
oh well...
