What's really disturbing about this is that the company, the employees, and even the police thought that it was acceptable to behave like this. I have no idea what Niles, MI is like but I did grow up about 2 hours east of there. I have (extended) family that is very small-minded like the Walmart people in this story. The gay agenda will be one of the number one complaints that I'll have to listen to when I visit them for the holidays. Even though they're experiencing terrible times due to the economy, the neighborhood they live in has had a huge increase in crime, they have no health insurance (seriously), etc. -- the thing that seems to anger them the most is the "gay agenda". You would think they'd refocus their anger on things that have more of an effect on their daily lives, but they dont.
