  the only reason i downloaded it was for netflix instant watch. Its worked well for that.

  Is this a whole (relatively) new proprietary language?

  • C# has way more users than AS3. It's based around the ECMAScript standard too, like Javascript and ActionScript3Pupsipu
  • and it's much fancier than Actionscript and was made in 2002Pupsipu
  • Actually ECMAscript is now C#.rounce
