  You are correct mg33, if you create a party, invite friends, then the host joins a game. Everyone in that party will be on the same team, and their name will be blue, instead of green. Not sure if you have 8-12 players in a party how the game will divide people up, you might just have to keep the games private at that point. Or just join a game and hope to takeover a public game. There's a couple ways to get people in, it just gets difficult to keep randomizing the teams in public rooms.
