  @FallowDeer,
  If you are all in the same lobby you should be able to join the same game together and play on the same team. However, if your team is larger than 8 for the normal modes it will split you up - unless you play a Big Team game.

  Being in an xblive party is altogether different than being in the in-game lobby. xbox live parties are pretty much strictly for chat and games that use the xblive avatars.
