hmm...sounds a bit like the brief has designed you into a corner, and now you need to shoehorn something in and be somewhat literal.
How about not actually representing the concept of insight literally, but rather just the feelings around it ?
Outside, sky, landscape vocabularies etc would most simply lend themselves to the sun revealing itself via a sped-up dawn rising, or appearing from behind some suitablty non-threatening clouds.
Maybe a touch of trapcode shine as it rounds the limb of the cloud for extra zing. Don't over-complicate it, or try to literally literaly describe everthing in the narrative pictorially on screen, give your viewer some space to either be thinking about and absorbing the words and ideas with suitable, matching imagery.- ....or let the imagery tell the story, not both at the same time.mikotondria3
