I didn't even know they still made these kind of bindings. I had to check the date to see if someone filters a thread that was 8 years old.
They're notorious for being rental board bindings, and the boots are extremely heavy, plus they do gunk up with snow making them hard to get in and out of in the backcountry.
That being said I always wanted them just for the ease of getting in and out of. I tried Switch Binding about 4 years ago and hated them but went back to them last year and started to really like them. They feel a little loser than straps but I don't get that toe numbness from strapping down too hard.

    • any other differences between them and straps? u still feel the same level of control ?WeLoveNoise
    • It's a lot loser feeling, at first I didn't feel as responsive but I've adapted.fooler2
