Well it came from the desire to make things with my hands, physical things that will last. I didnt want to waste my life in front of a computer or sheepishly contributing to the business machine anymore. So the watchmaking program in Canada is 2 years. Then one can further his education in Switzerland for a couple more years. Full-time, yes and no. I'll be doing this mostly in the winter times. Restoring old pocket watches and clocks. In the summer, I surf, I give surfing classes, make and repair surfboards..And in between, I also give seminars in high-end retouching to the photography department at this college in montreal. I wont get rich from any of these activities, but damn, life is good. :)
