I guess the biggest problem I have is that you've asked for feedback, but then you say, "but this is what the client wants."
Which makes it hard to delineate, did you already show the client the design comp? If so, why are you showing us after the client has signed off on this? If not, then why are you being resistant to poignant and intelligent feedback.
There are plenty of ways to be "girly" without smashing your target over the head with it.
Just my two cents.
Also, what ukit says. Seems like the focus here is on women, not finances, which seems to me like the wrong concept (which should be a melding of the two, right???).
