QBN use an attribute nofollow on links out of the site, on your profile and on links posted in these threads. In the past this attribute told google etc to not attribute any linkjuice (i.e. pass any benefit from the links) to the link target and instead keep it within the site. This caused many websites to block all juice out of their sites by using nofollow everywhere in an attempt to boost their search positions. This summer google re-worked how the nofollow attribute was managed and instead of allowing a site to retain juice, the juice flowing out of a nofollowed link dissapears. the upshot of this is that theres no point in using nofollow for link sculpting or as a method of retaining link juice within a site and i urge qbn and all webmasters to stop hurting themselves and the internet by removing nofollow from their internal and external links...
