You can put the system install DVD on a USB stick or a memory card, it'll need an 8GB one. You need to format the card as GUID and restore a DVD image to it, there are tutorials online.
If you don't have a way to copy the DVD to an USB stick/card, you might torrent a system image down from the interwebz.
