OK, update on the Hero.
Fuckin thing dies by 8pm every day. I've tried turning off syncing and various things but if I make even 1 call it will be dead by nightfall. I got a task monitor app and it turns out that EVERY app I've opened since I turned it on is still running. I don't get it but I'm taking it in on Tuesday to solve the problem or get a different phone. But the only one I even considered is the Pre and my fingers can't deal with the keyboard.
