hatch sticker museum in Friedrichshain is cool.. Friedrichshain in general is pretty nice.
Thursday nights from 6-10pm all the state museums are open for free, so basically of museums island on unter der linden.
Mauer park markets in pberg on sunday is definitely worth checking.
Pick up a zitty, it will tell you most of the things happening
and if you can find a copy of ein000 magazine, it will direct you to a lot of the good shops around the place.
if you go to Eberswalder str.UBahn and walk down Kastaninen Allee towards Mitte, there are lots of good cafes and shops.. check out pauls boutique for lots of good second hand clothes and shoes.
Try and stay east as much as possible..
