what can you say about him? personally, i think he sold out in a big big way. he did a lecture at my school (art center school of design) where at the time i wasnt that familiar with his work. i did some research before the lecture to familarize myself with what the fuss was about (even a professor of mine was all about him). well, i saw his stuff and i enjoyed it. it wasnt until after the lecture that i saw what he WAS doing before... he's acclaimed as "the new leader in semotics" yet all his new shit distorts the meanings of icons with clip art that he didnt even draw (for the most part). it's "cool and awesome work" that holds no communcation value whatsoever. flatness is god was a great step, now i just see the same fucking donkey with his dick hanging out pissing in clouds... not once, but in ever damn piece he does now. and why?? $$$$$$
