I tried to sell a scanner on Craigslist. It was a few years old but I had kept all the boxes, literature and software discs. I think I listed it for $30 and used some stock images of the scanner.
I had a few offers asking questions so I took everything out of the box and took my own Digital pics of everything and reposted it.
One guy asked more questions so I actually scanned some images and slides to show him it worked.
He wanted to come over and do some test scans and I said no I don't want anyone on craigslist to know where I live but I'll meet you at a coffee shop.
Then he asked all sorts of technical questions and if I could come over and set it up at his house so he could test it out.
I finally said "look you've wasted more than $30 of my time" and gave it to my neighbor for free.- ahahahaa! nice.nicole_marie
