    so really you just need one guy whom you have no background about except that he's mayan to change your views and go on with your lives.

    you should grab this chance and learn more about the mayan culture, the olmecs, the aztecs, whatever floats your boat. who care if the earth will/will not be destroyed in 2012, its not like we're that essential here (except for our huge EGOS)
    I knew some facts about the south american pre conquistador culture, actually only what you learn at school, but that 2012 bs helped me understand the precision of their culture and astronomical knowledge.
    no matter what happen in 2012, man will find away to wipe itself of this damm rock.
