UNITED NATIONS (CNN) -- A United Nations plane carrying 10 U.N. military personnel is down in Haiti, a spokesman for the world body said Friday.
There was no immediate word of their status, he said.
The plane went down 20 kilometers (12 miles) west of the village of Fonds-Verrettes in an area accessible only by foot, he added.
