Interesting! How about something clean and work/portfolio friendly? Something like this maybe...

Not too heavy that interferes with the work to be displayed, yet it does have some design to it (Please no trendy crap or colorful graphics) I've found it's either plain black with poor elements, or a salad of styles that just distract the user... Don't know if that was clear enough, but I've been looking for one like this for a while now...Oh! and easy to customize!
