Go build something! I try to make something, even handmade models of somethings, every couple weeks. Keeps me happy for sure. I've made furniture on the side for years. Now I just wait for my friends to ask for a piece and I make it on my own time!
Having a shop is huge though.
I'd just be completely lost without the production side. I think it's the most fulfilling.
