When you say it, you are surrounded with in that environment. It is a slang with in the group of circle. When you use it out side of that, you promote bigotry.
Do you know any african americans? Why dont you go around saying the N word everywhere?
If someone called you a mexican wet back delivery boy or apple picker, would you get upset? But what if that person explained to you that they have lots of Latin friends and that doesnt mean anything.
