if you can, restart in classic to test it...
stuff that's been carbonized (ie, netscape) doesn't work so hot in classic when you're runnin' osx... it KNOWS you've got a better version on there that you should be using i guess...
for the record, though, i've never really noticed differences in os9 IE and osX IE... other than the anti-aliased type...
