I saw Smashing Pumpkins there a couple years ago and the acoustics are terrible. They played so loud that it was totally undefined.
On another note, the crowd felt content just standing there watching the show. When my buddy and I even attempted to push around a little, people gave us shit. As if moving around during a rockin' show is against the law! The security even asked us to stand still...during a fucking legendary show at a legendary venue. I was so confused.
Oh, and while I was there, a bunch of people were recording the show on small devices, but I know nothing for certain regarding that.
