    While it is clear that shareholders will demand efficiency, that is true of every public company out there, including Verizon.

    Poor service will create a poor reputation, which affects the bottom line as people go elsewhere. It is just bad business, period.

    True that they have a monopoly on the iPhone and thats a shame, but that's also business.

    I'll be calling to complain about the service soon, as my iPhone sucks lately (first gen, though, dropped many times, so can't be sure it just isn't old).
    I've seen no phone that offers the video capabilities that the iPhone does, which is an essential part of my business, so while I like its cool looks, it is the functionality that keeps me there.
