What does it actually show in System Profiler under slot 1 and slot 2?
Nothing at all showing in slot 2? If so pull it out and put in again, but I'd be calling Applecare to see if there's any further procedure for testing (they might suggest the Apple Hardware Test from the Install DVD, or something), or if you just return the RAM.
