as i said before, all their licenses do as they wish, the internet people clearly do not follow any brand identity or direction of the brand and its heritage. the brand is so far away from any place it had in the world as a leader in denim design and related products that it seems ok and just for the licenses to act as they please as the parent company in san fran does little to no control over what their licenses do or how they market the brand.
oi i need a coffee
- If you look at levi.com (european site) there are so many different collections that all have a separate identityDaveO
- yes and that is levi's biggest problem, the lack of a cohesive brand world identity.satogami
- if every division of the brand would design as it sees fit then the brand isnt a brand..satogami
- ..but rather a large mix of randomness.satogami
- in the end i wish levi's luck in strengthening their hold in the market as a leader.satogami
- but this will take a long time as the world divisions are all doing their own thing.satogami
- Our thoughts exactly. We work on three of the different sub brands, it's hard workDaveO
