the last thing i will add to this thread:
through many years i have had to deal with psychologists and people involved with cases like this. the opening of such a case after many many years can open up wounds on both sides. the whole issue is: who is served by this? the ever revenge-seeking american citizen who hates any and all mental deviation except himself? or the victim?just like his lawyer said in the press: in the end it is nothing but a legal matter. very few sound minded people in any high level of anything will have much feelings about this, except then carrying out the rule of law, so "any"-phobists like utopian and jimbojones can lean back and pat themselves on their self-rightiousness..
more than anything else in the world i hate these armchair judges and psychologists. but hey, i guess that is the american way, a country full of hate and vengeance.
for now i am fucking glad i am a european.
anyway, this thread will become as sick and useless as the politics thread so i am out. if you respond i won't be reading it.
got lots of work to do anyway.
