  My aunt has a place in St. Croix, USVI. Last two years i've gone down there for about 2 weeks. It's an interesting place.

  Pros
  -Awesome beaches
  -Great for r&r
  -great snorkling
  -great weather
  -Bottled beer is cheaper than bottled water

  Cons
  -Island life is a little dull
  -Natives are a little "low brow"
  -It's a mountain in the middle of the ocean and it's terrible to drive on
  -Be wary of what you eat. All foodstuffs is typically imported and with a few exceptions is not terribly fresh.
