You get to a certain age and you just think 'fuck it' - I've sat on second and third hand tatty old sofas long enough, and you bust out and drop a grand massively oversized couches and chairs, which you are then utterly paranoid about spilling anything on. Also with beds - the mrs and I have a super kingsize thing with a plush pillowtop that you have to get up on to, and its fucking lush.... And when you look back at it, all it is is a few months beer money.
Anyone succumbed to the non-illusion that is nice new furniture ?
