President Obama talks about the G20 protesters:

"I was always a big believer in - when I was doing organizing before I went to law school - that focusing on concrete, local, immediate issues that have an impact on people's lives is what really makes a difference and that having protests about abstractions [such] as global capitalism or something, generally, is not really going to make much of a difference."

Actually Obama has a pretty good point here that could be applied to most of people who complain about politics and government. People go to these protests and scream and yell, but I bet not that many of them could name their local mayor or legislator.

    • haha. any spinster knows the the abstractions make the msot difference. and protesters have to be super overt.
