  If I remember correctly, your bleed is indeed still there, unless the end user is ONLY looking at it through Acrobat.

  I had a problem sending a file off once, where the printer refused to acknowledge the data outside the crop marks, so I ended up just making the document size bigger. I still think I'm right on that one, but what the hey.
