There are many reasons I'd get it, but the basic one that I suspect isn't so real for the other people here: QBN sustains me. Beyond the routine banter, QBN gives me everything– critiques, a place to chat, industry news (from the "outside" as well as from all the talented designers here), drinks/smokes, and even a couch to sleep on! K10k and QBN are why I would rather be a designer than just another arrogant failure at whatever it is I was passing off as "design" when I was 12 or 13... QBN ≠ forum, QBN = lots of awesome people who've been real cool to me! :D
