also instead of sorting by dated added column, i'd suggest you create a separate playlist to dump your tracks into, then sort that playlist by the small arrow column on the far left, which is sort in order as added.
i find that column more reliable than by "date added"... and its not available in the main Music listing so that why you add file to a playlist.
at least thats what i do. playlists and even better lots of smart playlists. i never view my music via the main Music listing. it sucks for sorting.
